Har vart dåligt med surf den senste veckan här i SB och vi har bara surfat en gång sedan vi kom tillbaka från Pismo. Men det har varit destumera gitarr spelande. Rob, Patt och jag har börjat spela lite Bon Iver låtar. Det innebär omtuning av gitarrerna fram och till baka. För veckan var det först öl inblandat och jag och Rob var övertygade om att Bon Iver tunade i “höga E”… Vi fick inntygat ganska snabbt att “höga E” inte fanns när strängen gick innan vi var i närheten av E:et. Detta ledde till en omsträgning av min gitarr på tisdagen. Senare i veckan, närmare bestämt torsdag kväll så var det Sangria kväll. Vi hade alla lärt oss av vårat misstag och vi fick till tuningen bra och hade inga problem med att spela låten. Problemet kom då jag efter X antal Sangria glas underspelandet skulle tuna tillbaka gitarren till normal tuning. Vi hade ju reda fått det bekräftat att hög E inte fanns. Tydligen hade något hänt med mitt annars så musikaliska öra. Jag lyckas första dra av B strängen. Ett så kallat “högt B” inte lyckat. Jag tänker: fan skit samma jag fortsätter med “höga e”… problemet är ju bara att jag redan ligger lite för högt med e -strängen och lyckas innom loppet av 10 sekunder dra av den med. Var en helt klart givande kväll.
På måndag drog iaf Rob och jag och köpte nya strängar. Fick 3 uppsättningar strängar för 10$ så var ju ingen större skada på taket. Så nu lirar vi med nya strängar båda två och det låter bättre än aldrig förr. Kanske kommer ett smakprov senare i veckan.
Har även fixat klart med alla bilder från förra helgen så jag satsar på att lägga upp dem imorgon någon gång.
