Hey

Nu är jag till baka efter en hel helg i bilen. Vi startade helgen med Rebelution på torsdag kvällen. Det var en helt sjukt bra spelning och man kan väll säga att stämmningen var ganska så hög. På fredagen kväll drog vi och surfade C-Street i Ventura. Det var ganska dåliga förhållande men vi lyckade skrapa ihop några vågor iaf. Efter det blev det våran basföda “In And Out”. Den burgaren inehåller allt kroppen behöver, så det var en bra start på källen. Vi hade planerat att lämmna SB tidigt på lördag morgon, men då vi gick lite hårt på Kaptenen kvällen innan så fick vi skjuta lite på avresan.

När vi tillslut kommer fram till Malibu så är det inga vågor. Det är ett riktigt nice ställe men vi lyckades pricka in en spegelblank dag fast prognosen hade lovat 3-4 feet. Som tur var hade vi kvällen innan snackat ihops med en polare som pluggar i Chapman. Så våran från början tänkta endags resa blev istället en helgtripp.

Vidare från Malibu kikade vi förbi Venice/LA en stickare. Det tog inte långa stunden efter mitt första beök i LA att innse att jag inte gillar stället. Det är några miljoner för många invånare.

Vi körde vidare söder ut mot Newport som ligger ca 20 min från Chapman där vi skulle möta våran polare senare på kvällen.  Efter att ha kollat inne sträckan från Seals beach ner till Newport beach bestämde vi oss för att surfa Huntington Pier. Från att ha surfat upp i SB krokarna så var det riktigt nice att komma ner till varmare vatten. Det var tom några som körde utan våtdräkter. Jag övervägde det ett tag men behåll dräkten på.

På kvällen mötte vi upp med våran polare Brandon aka Jim från American Pie. Han dra med oss till sina “waterpolo polare ” där vi går på Kaptenen igen. Efter ett lite tag så visar det sig att vi skall på någon strand fest i Laguna. 20 minuter senare befinner vi oss på en parkering utan för ett “gate community”. För er som inte vet vad Laguna är så är det ett utav det förmodligen rikare delarna av Kalifornien. Vissa delar av OC är innspelat så. Med det sagt så vandrar efter lite sweet-talk 10 halvfull college kids in i rikemans området.  Vi spenderade kvällen på en utav förmodligen CA finaste stränder, men mina minnen är lite suddiga från det. 

Vi vaknar iaf upp 5 killar i ett dorm på Chapman Campus igen så vi kom ju iaf hem säkert verkar det som. Lite stressade för att vi vaknade upp försent, så drar Martin, Ryan och jag tillbaka till Huntington Pier där vi fick oss en kass men ändå ganska rolig surf där jag innom loppet av 5 min nästan lyckas köra över samma kille två gånger.

Var förmodligen en utav det bättre helgerna på länge. Men nu väntar en vecka av finals studier som inte kommer bli allt för roligt.

Lägger upp lite bilder från Huntington från i lördags och söndags. Har bilder från C-Street  men de ligger fortfarande på Martins dator. Har även lite bilder och filmer från Rebelution som jag skall försöka lägga upp om jag får datorn att fungera…
