Back at the Canaries

After a long travel day Lars and I finally arrived to our hotel on Gran Canary. We are staying at the same place as we did last time, but a different hotel. Since the well looked super good ( north east) we decided to head up north. We went do check out Las Palmas. It was messy but we went out any way. After like 15 minutes of just paddling we went back in. Instead of keep surfing Las Palmas we went a bit east on the same shore. It still looked bad so we sat back into the car and went for the east coast, playa Aldea. In the end it turned out to be a good choice. It delivered as it did a year and a half ago 😉

Surfing a island in Sweden

Saturday lunch Lars and I left VBG for some real surfing. We were heading for a new spot and we were meeting up some other surfers out there. Since we wanted a sunrise session we had rented a house with the other guys. Ill guess it wasn´t a bad thing that we could drink some beers and talk about all the EPIC waves we surfed both in Sweden, and around the world the day before surf.
Jonas which is the name of the other Vänern surferdude that I have surfed with before, had some unfinished business. Last time he got the sickest ride I ever seen someone get in Sweden. I think it was tubing a little bit that time. Well this time i made it equal with the wave you going to see in the go pro movie. Not even close to tubing, but probably the longest wave I have got in Sweden. Not a bad day at all. As I said out in the water ” feels a bit like Hawaii”, and it did 😉

Next time going to be a opening and some “tutorials” 😉

Sitter nu hemma i Vänersborg och redigerar lite film från resan. Har bestämt mig att detta blir nog sista gången det närmsta åren jag drar tillbaka till Vänersborg. Efter några riktigt bra dagar nere i Spanien och Frankrike så kände jag att det är ju där jag borde vara. Är mycket planer i huvudet nu och jag vet ju hur jag är, men det känns ju allt vättiga nu.

Jag har iaf bokat flyget till USA nu. Den 18e augusti bär det av mot Santa Barbara igen. Inte många dagar kvar. Om jag hade orkat hade jag räknat. Men det gör jag inte. Har även ett rikitgt nice hus pågång där med. Vi få hoppas att vi får det. Det kommer bli ett ruggit bra år och planerna där efter är ju inte kass det heller. Men det tar vi senare…
